With designing career cover in 1994 “Eugene Designs” (girl dresses) and is chosen to participate in the Mode Infantine, Paris in 1997 for his creative designs.

In 2009 express her creativity through designs furniture and accessories using different textures and materials giving warmth to environments

Katia focuses on incorporating raw materials into her designs in innovative but sustainable ways. She works with local artisans in her own workshop whose cra has been passed down through generations.

In uences from Mesoamerican art and culture is abundant in her work and speaks to the creativity of her pieces.
